Brent Wolters: Board Member
Brent was born and raised here in Whatcom County. Prior to attending WWU, he attended Ferndale High School, graduating in 1988. Brent and his wife, Olga are kept busy with there three children, Benjamin, Chalae & Jacob.
Brent is passionate about service. He has been a volunteer with the local Boys & Girls Club, coaching numerous sports teams. In 2006, Brent traveled to Buras, Louisiana with a group from Whatcom County to assist in the clean-up following Hurricane Katrina. Before joining the Board in 2008, Brent and Olga leveraged their personal assets to purchase an abandoned, run down single-wide trailer on North Red River Road that had been used, abused and trashed by drug dealers. That single-wide has now been properly disposed of benefiting the entire community.
Brent enjoys music and loves to travel. He plays a mean fiddle and has traveled to 18 countries and all 50 states.
